In 1980, the second-round match between Faris and Octavian Dușa is listed as a fall in favor of Faris. Both then lost their third match, which should have meant that Dușa was eliminated. Yet Dușa fought again in round 4 (and lost again), I can only assume that the result of the second-round match was overturned. That also explains why Faris, credited with only one loss after four rounds, was suddenly missing in round five.
