Born in Newfoundland, now (but not then) a part of Canada; emigrated to the US in 1898, but naturalized only in 1907. He travelled with the American team to Athina. I shall call him a Canadian national.
He represented the Cambridgeport Gymnasium in the 1904 Club championship.
