In 1928 and 1932 he was still a medical student, but by 1936 he was a fully fledged doctor, and that is how he won his fifth bronze medal.

Member of the American Basketball team that won gold at Los Angeles, Seoul, Atlanta and Sydney.
As a double gold medallist already, and living in Atlanta, she was asked to perform the oath for the athletes in the 1996 games.
With 4 golds and a bronze she became the most succesfull team sportsman in Olympic history.
